Grounds differ enormously — a Premier League fixture, a county cricket day and a conference final need very different numbers in very different places. We staff to your safety certificate and your operations plan, not to a standard package.

Most grounds already have stewards. The difference a professional security contractor makes shows up in the parts nobody photographs — how fast the queues clear, how few incidents reach the police, and whether the paperwork stands up afterwards.

Martyn’s Law — properly, the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 — received Royal Assent on 3 April 2025, and the Home Office published its statutory guidance in April 2026. The duties are not yet in force: the implementation period runs at least 24 months, and enforcement is not expected before 2027. The SIA is the regulator.

The Act works in two tiers by capacity. Standard tier covers premises where 200 to 799 people may be present; enhanced tier covers 800 or more — which means most stadiums sit in the enhanced tier, with duties around risk assessment, a documented plan and a named senior individual responsible for it.

Two things worth being straight about. First, responsibility sits with the venue’s responsible person — not with a contractor, and the Government has been explicit that venues can comply without buying in specialist compliance services. Second, what we actually do is the delivery end: trained, licensed people who know your evacuation and invacuation procedures, who’ve been briefed on your plan, and who behave the way your plan says they should on the day. We support your arrangements. We don’t sell you compliance.

Stadium work is unforgiving in a way office work isn’t: you get one hour to admit a crowd, and everything either goes right or it’s on camera. Our owner has spent most of a career in venues and the night-time economy, and the people we put on turnstiles are chosen accordingly.
